Portsmouth Public Media to present inaugural educational seminar Oct. 4

Portsmouth Public Media (PPMTV) presents its inaugural educational seminar Tuesday night, October 4, at the South Meetinghouse at 280 Marcy Street in Portsmouth (prior home for the Children's Museum) at 7:00pm. Led by Bill Humphreys, this "Producer's Overview" will present a broad-spectrum look at PPMTV, the purpose and process of public access television, and its web presence. A thorough explanation of PPMTV's facilities, procedures, policies, certification for equipment access, production and post-production courses, and content creation will be presented, as well as a tour of the facilities. This introductory forum will answer questions regarding content requirements, access to video and audio production equipment, the post-production process, and PPMTV programming. A one-hour session, it is recommended for anyone interested in the workings of PPMTV, what PPM has to offer the community, and how their involvement in storytelling can make a difference to Seacoast viewers.

If you have any questions about this event or Portsmouth Public Media in general, please contact Glenn Gardener at glenn.gardener@ppmtvnh.org.
