"Ear Whacks" from NH filmmaker Alfred Catalfo, now on YouTube

Hi Everyone,

We're very happy to announce that our newest film, EAR WHACKS, is now live on YouTube as a 2009 Sundance Film Festival Project Direct entry! Project Direct is a cool concept: Film entries must be under 5 minutes, use a red telephone for a prop (Moviefone is the sponsor) and use two other props from a list of 25 which are all from films made famous at Sundance. Our props were a severed ear (Reservoir Dogs), instant photos (Memento), and a wedding dress (Four Weddings and a Funeral).

For EAR WHACKS, we had a somewhat crazy idea to repurpose some of The Stag Hunt footage by writing a new script, shooting several new scenes and doing an entirely new 5-minute film with a completely different storyline -- a dark comedy about a gambling addict whose best friend lends him an ear. We hope you enjoy it. Please watch the film in High Quality if you have a fast connection speed.
