New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition to Present "Caring for Mo" Screening & Discussion

Bedford, NH – Bentley Commons at Bedford (www.bentleycommons.com), a premier assisted living community, as part of their weekly Tuesday, Talk & Takeout Lecture Series and in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will be hosting a screening of Caring for Mo on October 28, 2008 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The screening will be followed by a discussion and dinner.

Nurses, social workers, caregivers and breast cancer survivors are invited to this complimentary event that chronicles a New Hampshire nurse’s 20-month battle with breast cancer. It has become a moving educational tool that stimulates discussion about the impact of serious illness on patients, families and caregivers. Following the screening, healthcare communication expert, Cindy Gourgue, RN, BSN, MS, Creative Producer of Caring for Mo, will lead an insightful discussion that will explore the interactions of medical professionals.
