Lunchbox Films announces world premiere and fall schedule for "The Other Side of Hell"

Have you ever wondered what runs through the mind of a very sick man? Or what makes a homicidal maniac tick? The Other Side of Hell, a new feature-length film by New Hampshire filmmaker Jim Mccrackin, will answer these questions as the New Hampshire-made film premieres on Sunday, October 5 at 4:30 pm at the Wilton Town Hall Theatre in Wilton, NH.

“Horror has become tame” says director Jim Mccrackin. “The Other Side of Hell is a gut-wrenching film that takes you inside the mind of a mad man and doesn’t let your mind take a rest or let you hold down the popcorn you’re eating. Most of the horror films we see know are usually about a group of people in the woods being terrorized by a killer - horror has become dull.”

The Other Side of Hell tells the bone-chilling story of serial killer Max Kimball (Jeremy Cooper) who is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. Murder is Max’s passion; a passion he loves nothing more than to share with his would-be victims. Since his gruesome career began he has called himself the “Psycho Sideshow Freak”, but now he is really beginning to lose his grip on reality. Max’s world is full of demons, tripped out dreams, lost identity and blood-dripping horror.

The Other Side of Hell began as a nineteen-page short film before ending up, eleven years later, as a two-hour feature-length film. “People always ask me why it’s taken so long to complete this film” Mccrackin says. “Well, when you put your heart and soul into your work, sometimes you can’t stop till the vision is complete. It’s been a difficult eleven years. We’ve endured countless problems – broken cameras, bad weather – even our lead actor, Jeremy Cooper, was involved in a bad accident which sidelined the film for more than one year. But thanks to the dedication of the actors, crew, friends and family and we are where we are today. Making a film is a team effort.”
