Including Samuel to be translated into Arabic to support Iraqi disability rights movement

The Including Samuel Project is teaming with the global relief and development agency Mercy Corps to translate the documentary film into Arabic for outreach and education in Iraq.

"In a country where the word 'accessibility' lacks definition, resources like Including Samuel help create an understanding of how people with disabilities can be included in all aspects of society," said Tiana Tozer, People With Disabilities program manager for Mercy Corps Iraq. Tozer's work in Iraq was featured on the NBC Nightly News. An estimated 2 million people with disabilities live in Iraq and 90% live below the poverty level. The Including Samuel Project will help Mercy Corps engage Iraqis with disabilities in a social justice movement to ensure that they are full participating members of society.
