New Hampshire filmmaker gives a BIGHORN update!

Hi Everyone,

After four months of negotiations and a script review, the NFL has granted us approval to use the footage of Adam Vinatieri's game-winning kick from the 2002 Super Bowl in our film BIGHORN. Quite a coup!

We are now in post-production and have picture lock. Glenn Gardner and I are deeply grateful to our editor Michael Bernard at Fuel Creative, visual effects supervisor Dave Langley at Team Hill Studios, composer and music supervisor Charles Carpenter, and sound designer Jason Allen from the electronic media, arts, and communication program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. We also very much appreciate the support and encouragement of Marc Dole at Hatchling Studios and Chase Bailey at Left Bank Films.

There has been a great deal of interest in BIGHORN from media and festivals around the country and we look forward to an October release and rollout!

BIGHORN is a 15-minute, supernatural historical fantasy based on a true fact: that General Custer's bandmaster, Felix Vinatieri -- an Italian immigrant and the great-great-grandfather of Super Bowl-winning kicker Adam Vinatieri -- was ordered to stay behind at the 7th Cavalry's Powder River camp and missed the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
