Nashua, New Hampshire becoming attractive to filmmakers

There's been a lot of interest in Nashua as of late, and it's great to see indie filmmakers looking to The Gate City as an urban alternative to Boston.]

Whether it’s a dark and creaky cabin on a lake, a luscious park or a bustling shopping mall, it isn’t hard to find places in New Hampshire that could fit right into a movie scene.

With the help of these picturesque scenes, some passionate filmmakers and many helpful local businesses, New Hampshire is slowly making its name in the independent film scene.

“Nashua is becoming a hot spot; New Hampshire’s little Hollywood,” said Matthew Newton, director of the New Hampshire Film and Television Office.
