The 2012 SNOB Film Festival takes place November 8 at Red River Theatres in Concord

Fall is right around the corner, that means The SNOB (Somewhat North Of Boston) Film Festival is almost here.  The SNOB Film Committee has been receiving and reviewing films for this year's film festival on November 8th-11th.  If you are a filmmaker looking to enter your film, then you better act quickly.  Our last deadline is Friday, September 7th at midnight.  We are still looking for films in all of our categories: Shorts, Feature Length Films, Documentaries, Comedies, Dramas, Animations, and a new categories called "Trailers Without Films".  For more information about film submissions, please see our website www.snobfilmfestival.com or www.withoutabox.com/login/9633

The 2012 SNOB Film Festival will return to Red River Theatres in downtown Concord, NH for four days of independent films.  Thursday, November 8th will begin in the evening with an opening reception, a special tie-in film, and a sneak peak at the weekend films.  Friday will be a full day of great films on two screens.  In the evening, we will bring back SNOB's Twisted Tales and SNOB's X-terme films.  Saturday will again be a full day of programing: starting with an event for filmmakers and Kids North Of Boston; Independent films for kids and ending with some great feature films.  Sunday, November 11th we will have a late start but go all afternoon into the evening with some entertaining films and thought-provoking documentaries.  We will announce all the winners late Sunday night.  Don't worry, Monday is Veteran's Day and a holiday for most people to rest up after this packed weekend.  Tickets and more event details will be released on our website over the next two months: www.snobfilmfestival.com or stay up to date by liking us on facebook: www.Facebook.com/SNOBFilmFestival or follow us on Twitter: Twitter.com/#!/snobfilmfest

Founded in 2002 and now in its 11th season, the SNOB Film Festival is a grassroots effort to showcase and support independent film making. We strive to bring films to the area that local audiences might not otherwise see.
