New Hampshire Film & Television Office Meet-Up scheduled for May 8 at Pinkerton Academy

The next New Hampshire Film & Television Office Meet-Up is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8 at 5 p.m. at Pinkerton Academy, Academy Building Lecture Hall, in Derry.

The New Hampshire Film & Television Office Meet-Up provides members of the state's media production industry with an opportunity to network with one another, with everyone having the chance to take a few minutes to introduce themselves and share information on their recent or upcoming endeavors (Yes, there is a time limit! Each participant will have three minutes!) There is a networking session at the end of the evening where attendees can make connections and talk further.

The New Hampshire Film & Television Office Meet-Up is an extension of our current Industry Roundtables. While our Roundtables are designed to be lunch-time, business-oriented events with a focused topic, the Meet-Ups are scheduled in the early evening and are structured to allow attendees to drive the discussion.

Like the Roundtables, the conversation at the Meet-Up is geared toward the working media production industry and is free and open to the public.

The Academy Building is the newest facility on campus of Pinkerton Academy and includes the new TV-Video Production Studio. Meet-Up attendees will have the chance to tour the studio and learn more about the growing production program at Pinkerton Academy, including hearing from students about their career interests in the industry. This is also a great opportunity to look at the campus, with its mix of classic and modern facilities, as a potential filming location.
