“Granite State of Mind 2: Plow Guy Boogaloo” Hits YouTube

HAMPSTEAD, NH – The Super Secret Project, creators of the viral YouTube hits “Granite State of Mind,” “Ode to Zach Braff” and “Realistic Love Song,” release a new video on YouTube this Thursday, February 17, 2011, entitled “Granite State of Mind 2: Plow Guy Boogaloo.”

The follow-up to SSP’s ode to New Hampshire again celebrates the Granite State, as well as people behind winter snow removal because “in February it is good to know a Plow Guy.” The new video features parodies of Jay-Z’s “Run This Town,” Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” and the Dr. Dre/Tupac collaboration “California Love,” and features cameos from comedian Sarah Silverman, actor Mike O’Malley, documentary filmmaker Ken Burns,  Governor John Lynch, as well as other local celebrities.

The video stars SSP member Billy Donohoe as “The Plow Guy”, while SSP member Christian Wisecarver reprises his rap stylings, and guest singer Holly Winchell again provides the female voice for New Hampshire. SSP producer, Darby DeChristopher, continues her duties behind the camera for the latest installment.

The Super Secret Project is a NH-based comedy group, comprised of Christian Wisecarver, Billy Donohoe and Darby DeChristopher. They have been producing internet videos for 5 years and have recently performed at the Verizon Wireless Arena, the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Arena and the Portsmouth Music Hall to almost sold-out audiences.  They return to Portsmouth this spring, playing the brand new Music Hall Loft on April 29th and April 30th. Tickets go on sale March 12th.
