Mark Constance will direct from his script based on an original concept by Kendra Duncan and a creation from Sheila Duncan.

The film’s concept is based on children in trouble and how in the modern world children must cope with inner strength in difficult times.

Constance’s vision of a stark world where children in desperate situations know that "where there is trouble there is hope."

The cast of TROUBLE will include Todd Rotondi of the Sundance hit, HOWL and the shot in New Hampshire film, THE POND; seacoast bred, national touring comedian, Juston McKinney; New Hampshire Film Festival screenwriting competition chairwoman, Dana Biscotti-Myskowski and Chris Roblee, Eliya-Quaye Constance, Kate Jurdi and Jessica Webb, all alumni of the film CROOKED LANE, also shot in Portsmouth.

TROUBLE will be produced by Bethany Constance, Greg Smith and Rick Dirck.

The original concept of TROUBLE was created in 2006 when Kendra Duncan lost her dad, grandmother and best friend, her aunt Sheila Duncan’s Golden Retriever to cancer.

These tragedies made Kendra decide she wanted to help others going through tough times.

One winter night in 2006 Kendra drew a black and white dog and immediately named him TROUBLE. Soon Kendra and Aunt Sheila realized they were onto something powerful, creating a real life TROUBLE and introducing children to his magic, became their mission.

In the years since Kendra and Sheila have watched the reaction children have to TROUBLE. To them, he is alive. They talk to him, sing to him and can’t fall asleep without him.

And now a713production in conjunction with Sheila & Kendra Duncan will unite to bring TROUBLE to life.

Upon completion, plans for the film include upcoming meetings in Los Angeles with product development companies and major children’s networks. A film festival run is also intended.
