Casting Notice for New Web Series Written & Directed by Ernest Thompson

Whitebridge Farm Productions is holding an open call (several roles) for a new web series written and directed by Oscar winner Ernest Thompson. The series will shoot Saturdays, Sundays, and occasional weekdays (talent schedules permitting) in the greater New Hampton NH area. There are 11 episodes already written, each of which will be 3-5 minutes in length. Many of the characters below will have recurring roles.

If you are interested in this open call, please contact Lori Murphy to let her know (contact info is below). Lori will provide the address and put you on "The List" :-). Union & Non-Union actors are welcome. This film will be a "No/Low or Deferred Payment" project, pending discussion with SAG.

The audition will take the form of cold reads. That being the case, scripts will be available for each character listed below.

Casting will take place from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Sunday, September 20th at Whitebridge Farm in New Hampton, NH.

“In a time-bending adventure through the parallel universes of money and love, Ernest Thompson plays Jeremiah Ward, a man so driven by his insatiable demons that he literally can’t stay on the road.”

CAST:

Jeremiah Ward- 60ish tall , handsome, quick witted New Yorker. CEO of TWI (Taney Ward) Investment Company. (Ernest Thompson)

Mosey Moshier- A simple man with a thick New Hampshire accent whose job is to sweep up trash at a rest stop.

Captain Bob- A well-travelled but energetic police Captain in a small NH town who drives a vintage Ford Fairlane as his police cruiser.

Caleb- A disgruntled driver of a Hummer who has run-ins with Jeremiah Ward.

Boreas Victorias- A 60ish wealthy and sophisticated African-American man.

TWI Investment Company cast:

Ryan Taney- 30’s, calculating and seemingly humorless, board member and co-owner of TWI Investments.

Byron Taney- The youngest Taney brother, not a genius, the least bright and, therefore, most dangerous.

Lolly- The young and pretty receptionist at TWI, smarter than she seems.

Martin- A no nonsense security Exchange officer wearing a black suit.

Funeral procession cast:

Pax- A mellow young hippie from the 60’s.

Beast- A round, young white man with an afro.

Simone- A dour looking African-American woman.

Alice- A 15 year old hippie girl.

Cassius- A big, burly, young African-American man.

Doe- An achingly beautiful hippie girl in her 20’s.

Lavender- A high energy young woman.

Darly Nims- A lovely and waif-like 70 year old hitchhiker. Captain Bob’s wife (old lady).
