Creating Character: Acting with an emphasis on film
...with Filmmaker Aaron Wiederspahn

Designed for the actor who has either a beginning or advanced technique, but is seeking a stronger foundation and development in professional excellence. Students will analyze and discuss various texts, the concept of personalization, the specific creation of a character, emotional accessibility, and the ability to act instinctively with mind and heart.

We will also familiarize the actor with the process of acting for film and television. Students will develop good on-camera skills through audition-prep exercises.

---10 Week Program Beginning in February---

Youth Track (ages 13-17): Saturdays 1:00-2:45
Adult Track (ages 18+): Mondays 7:00-8:45pm

COST: $28 per Hour and 45 minute class, $280 total, No Drop-ins

INDIVIDUAL CLASSES offered upon invitation or audition
(Half Hour $32, One Hour $60)

Aaron Wiederspahn is a writer/director and producing partner with either/or films, a New Hampshire based film company. He wrote and directed the feature film The Sensation of Sight, starring Academy Award nominated actor David Strathairn, and is currently in development as writer/director for the upcoming feature film Someplace Like America, loosely based on the book Journey to Nowhere by three-time Pulitzer Prize winning journalists Dale Maharidge and Michael Williamson. Aaron is also the Executive Director of Burnt Norton Abbey and The Starving Artist, a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit arts collective located in Keene, New Hampshire. Before forming either/or films, he spent twelve years working in various capacities in film, theatre, music and radio.
