Casting Call for Keene State College Advanced Production "Playing House"

Synopsis:

A young man living in rural New England finds himself lost after graduating high school and spends his time taking care of his troubled father and brother while attempting to start a family of his own with his high school girlfriend.

Times:

Open casting call from 11am- 4pm

Leading Roles:

PAUL - early twenties, blue-collar working class.

KAY - late teens, upper-class high school student.

PAUL'S FATHER – 40-50, rough factory worker

JOHN - late teens, high school drop out

PAUL’S MOTHER- 40-50

JOSEPH and LAUREN- 18, High School drama students

30 min. Short Film
Shooting Dates – Jan. 3 – Jan. 18
Rehearsals during early Dec. (scheduled around actors availability)
Film will be shot in the Southern New Hampshire area.
Non-Union
Unpaid (compensation for travel/room and board)
