"Whale Watch without leaving land,” that’s the message from Patricia Lynch, Executive Director of The Music Hall about June’s Wildcard Movie this Sunday June 14 at 3pmOcean Voyagers. “It’s a great opportunity to see stirring images never before photographed of the humpback whales – the majestic mammals who swim in our New England waters.” The documentary was created by acclaimed Smithsonian underwater filmmaker Feodor Pitcairn who will be on hand after the film to answer questions along with noted Ocean Conservancy’s Wildlife Policy Director Vicki Cornish and Dan DenDento, Director of the North Atlantic Fin Whale Catalogue. The film is brought to The Music Hall in collaboration with the Seacoast Science Center (Rye, New Hampshire) and its June exhibition of “Tofu: The Journey of a Humpback Whale.” It’s all part of The Music Hall’s Wildcard Movie series which features films rare, random, relevant films once a month at the landmark theater in downtown Portsmouth.
