New NH TV Show Weds Reality TV to Game Show Fun

[Received this press release from George C. Jobel.]

A new concept TV show, Iron Brides™ will be taping this November in New Hampshire to air early 2009. Part reality TV, part game show, part wedding plan primer, the show gives eight brides-to-be the opportunity to compete for great prizes.

Concord, NH -- In a little more than a month, the cameras will be rolling to shoot Iron Brides™, a new reality TV game show slated to air in early 2009. The first 13 episodes of this fresh concept show will thrust eight brides-to-be together to compete. Each contestant will be given demanding tasks of planning their weddings, as well as be tested in life skills, athletic abilities, personality and more.

The victorious bride will walk away with a dream wedding package that includes a $9,000 photography and videography package, along with prizes planned to be offered by sponsors, including limousines, catering, custom invitations, bridal party hair and makeup for the big day.

The show's director, Jeffery Thayer of ReGenesis Films, is planning on capturing all of those special moments that go into planning a beautiful lifetime event. And because of the competition, he is sure there will be plenty of personal fears and tears exposed, along with joys, sweat and a few catfights. Thayer adds, "Not only should it be fun to watch and act as a wedding planning primer, but the viewer also gets to vote on who deserves to win the grand prize."

Iron Brides™ is believed to have a few firsts in television. Besides being the first reality show to be shot in New Hampshire, there will be special live webcasts of the day's events during the taping schedule. Iron Brides™ is also thought to be the first U.S. reality show shot and broadcast regionally via cable, instead of a traditional national broadcast, and to use Twitter (http://www.twitter.com) to stay in touch with its fans. Taping begins this November in New Hampshire.

The show's creators have sent out the casting calls, and have said the response is tremendous. In addition to brides-to-be, the production company is also looking for a local host, skilled video production artists, as well as entertainers (including a comedian and a band). Interested applicants are told to upload their audition clip to the show's YouTube site (http://www.YouTube.com/ironbrides).
