(Boston, MA)-- Boston Casting recently announced a special 6-week On-Camera Acting class for teens taught by renowned LA/New England Talent Manager Bethany Constance. Designed for students between the ages of 9 and 17, this 6-week class will focus on how to tap into the Boston acting market and understand the expectations of the New York and Los Angeles casting directors, directors and producers. Ms. Constance will work with students to improve auditioning skills and acting techniques and to develop successful marketing techniques.

Perfect for seasoned stage actors who are looking to get in the game of on-camera acting as well as those interested in learning about the industry, this class is the ideal way to get in front of an experienced Talent Manager, learn to audition flawlessly, and learn how to connect to the right people to jump start an acting career.

The focus of this intensive class is to strengthen actors’ on-camera technique for auditions and TV, film and commercial work. Using scripts from these mediums, students will perform in front of the camera in a real audition setting. Direction and feedback will be given with each performance and students will have the opportunity to watch their auditions on-screen. Students will also learn proper audition etiquette, how to approach cold readings, how to market themselves as actors, how to develop a character, and give multiple deliveries for various scripts. In the last weeks of class, TV and film work will be covered in great detail with scene study and performance. The last class will be held as a real audition and will be taped for students’ and parents’ viewing. It will also include a Q&A session on the business of acting.
