Priscilla Barnes and Sam McMurray are toplining indie romantic comedy "A Plate," set at a dysfunctional car dealership.
Terre Weisman, Erich Mettler, Mitch Weisman and Judy Fox are producing, with Terre Weisman ("Developing Sheldon") directing and writing. Pic is shooting this month in New Hampshire.
Story centers on an unscrupulous car salesman who thinks he's found a way to take over his philandering boss' dealership until he falls in love with the boss' beautiful daughter.
Julie Ann Emery, Shane Jacobsen, Bobby DiVito, Duke Valenti, Erika Smith, Joe Stapleton, Jessica Baade, Cheryl McMahon and Glenn Wein also star.
Barnes is an associate producer. Her credits include "Three's Company," "License to Kill," "The Crossing Guard," "Mallrats" and "The Devil's Rejects." McMurray was a series regular on "The King of Queens" and "The Tracey Ullman Show."
