For the past few summers St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire has been host to an productive educational endeavor called The Manchester Summer Scholars Program. According to their website these classes are ‘a fun hands-on academic day-camp for students entering grades 5-8. With six exciting courses taught by qualified local educators to choose from, students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of areas of new interest’.I’ve very honored to be involved with this group as the instructor for this year’s Filmmaking Course. Throughout the week, students will write, shoot, edit and produce their own short film. The dates for this summer’s day camp are July 19th through July 23. Please visit www.manchesterscholars.com for more information.
